Facebook's Facial Recognition feature Helps you Tag Photos Easily.

One of the main part of Facebook is the Photos category. Now Photo feature of Facebook getting a new big leap in Photo tagging technology called Facial Recognition technology. This technology will autonmatically suggest you which photo should be tag to which of your friend by using it’s advanced Facial recognition.

How Facial Recognition Works in Photo Tagging?

Tag Suggestions is fairly straightforward. Whenever you’re offered the chance to tag groups of your friends in an album, Facebook will utilize its facial recognition technology to group similar faces together and automatically suggest the friend you should tag them with. As you can see in the screenshot below, Facebook fills in the “Who is this?” box with its suggestion — all you have to do is click the “Save Tags” button to accept.

This year we saw many upgrades in the Photo feature of Facebook including bigger thumbnail, drag and drop photos and group tagging, with the launch of facial recognition photo tagging, Facebook Photos will be more awesome and easy to use and navigate.

Facial Recognition Photo Tagging will roll out to US users in Next week.
