New Version of TinyUmbrella Allows iPhone, iPod touch and iPad to Restore without iTunes

Here is a good news for all those iPhone users who have interest in jailbreaking their devices. The new version of TinyUmbrella is being developed and will come with some amazing features. The creator of TinyUmbrella(SemaPhone) are now working on the new version of TinyUmbrella which will allow users to Restore their iPhone, iPod touch and iPad without the need of iTunes.
From Official Blog of Tiny Umbrella:
I’ve been working on a new and improved version of TinyUmbrella that will, among other things, allow you to restore your iDevice without iTunes. With the holiday season and work, this will take me a bit to get working the way I want it. I appreciate your patience and your support. You guys are awesome  No ETAs yet but I’ll post updates here and on twitter.
For those who don’t know TinyUmbrella does two things
  1. Requests SHSH signatures for firmware restores
  2. Plays back those signatures enabling iTunes to continue the restore
With this feature in TinyUmbrella, you won’t need iTunes anymore and of course, this will bypass all errors while downgrading, updating, and may help with preserving the baseband.A recovery without the need for iTunes will also mean to restore those iOS devices to older firmware who do not have the certificate stored on the server SHSH Saurik.
