Video Calling Feature on Skype Released - And Available To Download

Skype has now also released their New Video Calling Feature in their App v3.0 for iPhone, iPod Touch And iPad. It also allows you to Call from Skype to Skype via Wifi or 3G. Now users can share Real Time Video between their Devices or Windows And Mac,  And Two-way video calls supported on iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS and iPod touch 4th gen.





Devices which Don't have Camera such as iPod Touch 3G and iPad also have this Feature.The new client supports video over Wi-Fi and 3G connections and with an installed base of clients greater than those currently using FaceTime it may give FaceTime a run for its money.

Here are some new features in v3.0 Update:
  • Make Skype to Skype video calls on WiFi and 3G*
  • Call Skype desktop users (Mac OS X or Windows) and other iPhone users.
  • Two-way video calls supported on iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS and iPod touch 4th gen.
  • Receive only video supported on iPad and iPod touch 3rd gen, with no camera.
  • Make video calls in portrait and landscape.
  • Skype video calling requires iOS 4.0 or above.
  • Additional Data charges may apply
