AT&T atlast Provisioned the Personal Hotspot feature on iPhone. According to AppleInsider this Hotspot feature has been provisioned to a developer using iOS 4.3 Beta. "Personal Hotspot" feature was first Introduced by the release of Verizon iPhone, it gives users the ability to make their iPhone act as a mobile wireless hotspot for other devices. This allowed customers to use their iPhone's data connection to share internet with up to 5 Wi-Fi enabled devices, such as your laptop or iPad.
iOS 4.3 Beta now supports Personal Hotspot features in it. Now if you want to enable this feature on your iPhone 4(iOS 4.3 Beta), it subjected to carrier’s decision, and additional fees. Verizon offers tethering with a Wi-Fi Hotspot, giving Internet access to up to five devices for $20 with a capping of 2GB per month.
iOS 4.3 is not yet available for Public, It was expected to be released a week ago but due to some circumstances Apple delayed the release. but now most signs point to late February. It seems mobile hotspot access will be available for those interested on AT&T.
