Apple iPad 2 Launch Delayed in Japan Due to EarthQuake and Tsunami [Report]

Reuters Just reported that Apple has Delayed the Launch of iPad 2 in japan 'cause if the devastating Tsunami and Earthquake. Japan was hit by this earthquake a week ago, and before that Apple have scheduled to Launch iPad 2 in Japan and other countries on 25th of March but the Destruction of significant places in Japan has changed their schedule. And yet there's no Reschedule for the release of iPad 2 in Japan and Other countries.


Here's what the Apple spokeswoman Natalie Kerris said:
We are delaying the launch of the iPad 2 in Japan while the country and our teams focus on recovering from the recent disaster,”
Japan has also been an important trade point for Apple, as they generated 5 percent of revenue in December. And after that the revenue increased by 83 percent in the period to $1.4 billion.

Apple is also helping Red Cross by collecting Donations for the affected people in Japan, so that might be another reason of the delaying.

Apple has helped a lot of People in Japan, As When the Earthquake strike, Apple turned their retail stores into means of connectivity for those who were lost and want to gather information or contact their friends and family.And also Apple helped those Employees who were in trouble, so they gave them their retail stores as shelters and also helped those who wanted to get back to their Homes.
