Apple iOS 5's New Feature will allow to Update your device Over the Air? [Report]

There are lots of Rumors that iOS 5 will brings loads of new features to iOS devices. Another new Feature which is Supposed is that, iOS 5 will allow users to update their Phones directly from their Devices OTA (over the Air). So how this feature differs, Basically whenever you want to update your iOS you have to connect your device to PC/iTunes and then Update it. But it might be possible that iOS 5 will allow to Update your Firmware directly from your Devcie.

It has been reported by 9to5mac that, Some of their Sources reported them that Apple is in talks with Verizon Wireless and AT&T to bring this feature to iOS devices.
  1. Updates are now over 600MB.  Apple would have to make these smaller to get the carriers to agree to push these things as they are.  We believe that Apple will make the updates much smaller by using incremental patches rather than full OS downloads
  2. iTunes provides the backup to the iOS device so a failed update would need some sort of backup.  We think there will be a Cloud-based backup system.
We have to wait untill the release of iOS 5 at WWDC in June to see the whole list of the New feature which iOS 5 will bring to iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad.
