Motorola Xoom Overclocked to 1.6 GHz

Recently, We have reported that after a week When the Xoom Tablet was released in US. That some Developers gave it a try and Successfully Overclocked the Xoom Tablet to 1.5 GHz.w e also wrote a guide on how to do it. And now once again, they Successfully overclocked it to 1.6 GHz. It has been done by the new Kernel Version of Tiamat 1.4.2. So after this Overclocking of 1.6 GHz, Motorola Xoom earned over over 4000 points in the benchmark app, Quadrant. While an normal Stock Version Xoom scored only 1500 Points.

So this Definitely means, If you choose to Overclock your Xoom, You'll face battery Shortage Problem. because high Processor means double Battery Consumption. There are also many users reporting that, This new Overclocking kills the tablets battery live. And Of Course, 1.6 Ghz is so fast.
