Some Guys with an really great eye sight and brain were able to find something very interesting in iOS 5 when they were having a look at iOS5 SDK. They found that iPad is capable of displaying a 2048 x 1536 Resolution with iOS 5. And it is exactly double the resolution (four times the pixels) of the current iPad (1024 x 768). So this could mean that Apple's Next generation iPad would be capable of having this much resolution with an Retina Display.
As I was going through the iOS SDK I came across some images in the new Twitter .framework. The resolution appears to be 1,536 x 2,048.
The Twitter.framework is the only framework I found to have these enormous images.
There were already some Rumors about iPad having 2048 x 1536 Resolution, As back in in January, a number of images were discovered within iPad apps showing icons twice the size needed for the 1024x768 screen on the iPad.
This Display Size Information has been found in Twitter Frameworks of iOS 5 Beta. So for a little more confirmation, This kind of Image has already been revealed showing 1536 x 2048 Resolution in the iBooks App for iPad:
It's for sure that we're not going to see any Retina Display iPad this year.iPad 3 cannot possibly count as a major upgrade too soon.
