Apple Released iTunes 10.5.1b2 and iOS 5.0.1for Developers to fix Battery Issue

Apple has finally considered the battery drainage issue on iOS 5 and finally released the update (iOS 5.0.1) to fix the this battery issue. Other than that this update also fixes the iPad Smart Cover security issue. Also Apple has released the iTunes10.5.1b2 which supports the iOS 5.0.1 and also fixes some bugs and brings improvements.


iOS 5.0.1 beta contains improvements and other bug fixes including:

  • Fixes bugs affecting battery life
  • Adds Multitasking Gestures for original iPad
  • Resolves bugs with Documents in the Cloud
  • Improves voice recognition for Australian users using dictation
  • Contains security improvements
iOS 5.0.1 beta introduces a new way for developers to specify files that should remain on device, even in low storage situations.

Developers can now download these new updates from here.

iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad users will soon get these updates.
