Restoring iOS 4.2.1 without upgrading Baseband using Sn0wbreeze 2.2 [Coming Soon]

The iPhone Dev Team hacker iH8Sn0w has just posted a screenshot of his latest Jailbreak tool called Sn0wbreeze 2.2 which has a special mode called “Baseband Preservation Mode”. This mode will allow users to Preserve their Baseband while restoring to iOS 4.2.1 so to make iPhone, iPod touch and iPad Unlockable with UltraSn0w.

For all those who don’t know, Sn0wbreeze is an alternative to PwnageTool for Mac, which creates custom firmware files without the upgraded baseband. But this new “Baseband Preservation Mode” is different, as it allows you to restore your iPhone to iOS 4.2.1 without upgrading the baseband.
There is no ETA (Estimated time of arrival) for Sn0wbreeze 2.2 but we will definetly update you once this new Jailbreak Tool released for Public.
