Wikileaks has been removed from App Store.

A few days back an Unofficial version of Wikleak App was released for iPhone users in the App Store. And now it's been removed from the Appstore. First Paypal , Mastercard and Visa stop supporting Wikileaks and now it's the AppStore which don't let Wikileaks to publish their app in the AppStore.

This is the Description of Wikileaks in the Appstore when it was available:
“The Wikileaks app gives instant access to the world’s most documented leakage of top secret memos and other confidential government documents.” You can now have all of the sensitive WikiLeaks data easily available on your iPhone…”
Basically the paid app was essentially selling content available for free for $1.99. It’s entry into the app store on December 17th was actually surprising.
Wikileaks is going through lots of controversies nowadays, but the people who support it will never leave it alone, there are lots of mirror sites created from Wikileaks so that if anyone shutdown Wikileaks their leaks will never be stopped.

According to Techcrunch:
I’ve contacted both Apple and and the developer for more information and will update this post when they respond.
