According to Apple, Mac OS X Lion aims at taking usability paradigms from iOS and adapting them to the Mac. Lion includes, for example, a new application manager named LaunchPad, which can be seen as the Mac version of the iOS Home Screen, since it takes up the whole screen and allows applications to be sorted into folders, much like they can on iOS devices.
And it's also been reported that the new iCloud beta 3 is also out for this build, along with a new preview for Xcode.
It has already been reported that MAc OS X 10.7 final version will be released by Apple later this month. And it won't be distributed using physical media discs rahter than that Apple would sell it on their Mac App Store for $29.
