iPad 2 Production has been started, FaceTime, Thinner Design and No Retina Display ; WSJ Reports

The Wall Street Journal Today reported that Apple has already started the production of Next Generation iPad. This means that the iPad 2 which was rumored for very long time will soon be in our Hands. WSJ has also added that this new iPad will have an front facing camera for FaceTime video calling, in addition to a new lighter, thinner design. The device is also said to include a faster processor, more memory (hopefully they mean RAM), and a more powerful graphics processor.

The new iPad will be thinner and lighter than the first model, these people said. It will have at least one camera on the front of the device for features like video-conferencing, but the resolution of the display will be similar to the first iPad, these people said. It will also have more memory and a more powerful graphics processor.
Wal Street Journal also added that after it’s release it will be only available with AT&T & Verizon Wireless. It will not support Sprint and T-Mobile networks.
The new iPad will initially be available through Verizon Wireless and AT&T Inc., but not Sprint Nextel Corp. or T-Mobile USA in the U.S., according to some of the people familiar with the matter.
According to the Report, iPad Production is on the go right now. But they didn’t gave any Public release date. So we have to wait a little more for the Official release date of iPad 2. If you haven’t checked the rumored specs of iPad yet, you can see them Here [1, 2, 3]
