Allthingsd has created an very good image of Data Plans of iPad 2 for Verizon and AT&T. It include the Data plans prices and how much data Verizon and AT&T is offering. The good thing about iPad 2 is that it's price is same as it's predecessor but iPad will also be offering cellular data connectivity to it's user. So this iPad now works more like iPhone as it supports both Verizon and AT&T.
AT&T DataPlans:
AT&T is offering the same data plans as the original iPad. They give you monthly data of 250MB for Just $15 and 2GB for $25, or if you've used your data within the given month you can wait for the end of the month or you can pay and start new month of service.
AT&T is also offering "Postpaid" for their users and it have the same charges overage. You can see in the chart below.
Verizon Data Plans:
Verizon as compared with AT&T provide more data plans ranging from 1GB to 10GB and price range from $20 to $80. So they make it easy for you to choose from wide variety. But Verizon is not offering "Postpaid" service to their users.
One thing you have to keep in that, read all the data plans for Verizon and AT&T wisely. Because there are two models for iPad 2 and once you've got one with a fixed Carrier(either Verizon or AT&T) you can't change it. Also, in both cases, the data option is month-to-month with no long-term commitment.
Ordering:
According to Apple, iPad 2 is going to release on this Friday, 11th of March. Apple tells their customers that online sale will start at 12:01 Pacific Time on March 11th. Or you can also go to Apple Retail store at 5 p.m. on March 11th to stand in a line. So the best way to get iPad 2 as soon as possible is stand in a line.
